The Jehovah’s Witness paid another visit to our door today. Now I have nothing against these people, but I don’t think they’re Christian, and I don’t want them coming to my door.
I quoted scripture to them this morning. The first thing out of my mouth was John 14:6John 14:6

Now I put it in modern English for them. I didn’t quote exactly that, but if you want to make a Jehovah Witness blanch, mention Jesus. They don’t want to talk about Jesus, or how God has manifested Himself in three different personalities: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit.
Now I don’t exactly understand how what religious leaders call the Trinity really is. What I do know is that there is a God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, and I don’t have any problem with that. Christianity is a monotheistic religion. God possesses different natures and personalities, but it is still one God.
Although I don’t have a problem with the Jehovah’s Witness, I do have a problem with some of the things they teach, like their passivism. Rather than stand up to a tyrant like Adolph Hitler, they preferred to just lay down and let Hitler murder them.
I believe in turning the other cheek. When someone insults you because you believe in Jesus, that’s the time you do it. However, the Bible also says to “render unto Ceasar what is Ceasar’s, and unto God what is God’s.” As Christians, we are to stand up for social justice. Sometimes the only way to put an end to the wholesale extinction of human beings is to stand up and fight. There are times that we have to stand up for what is right. Not only should we say something, but we may have to do something.
Jesus didn’t turn the other cheek with the moneychangers. He walked into the temple with a cat-0-nine tails and whipped them until they left. He didn’t mince any words when He threw them out. That’s the Jesus the church hardly ever talks about, and it’s the Jesus the world hardly ever sees.
I served my country. I was, and always will be, a US Army soldier. I am willing to lay my life down for the principles both the Bible and the US Constitution stand for because they are still the best game in town.
I don’t believe in going to war though unless we have to, but I do believe that sometimes there are legitimate reasons for going to war, like fighting against evil.
We’re fighting evil in the Middle East right now. If you read your Bible, then you know the outcome. It could be tomorrow, or it could be years from now, but we will win the final battle. Jesus will reign on earth, and He will reign for good. We won the the most important battle 2000 years when Jesus died on the cross, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t continue to stand up for what is right.
I appreciate you Jehovah Witnesses with your concern for my spiritual health. I already know I’m going to heaven though, and I know because 1 John 5:131 John 5:13

Again, I thank you, but please don’t come to my house. Until you’re willing to show a little gratitude for all of the men and women of the United States who have fought and died for you to be a cult, then you’re just not welcome in my home.
