Want to Succeed In Business and Life? Here’s What to Do

Quite frankly, I’m sick of the victim mentality in the United States. I’m tired of the whining of blacks, liberals, and others who had rather whine and complain about their lives than take responsibility for themselves.
Not one person I ever met lived a perfect life or got issued a perfect life. Life is not for the faint of heart, nor is it easy for anyone. The secret, and the real secret is that if you want to succeed in life, you have to be willing to stand up to any adversity and go through it, over it, around it, or whatever you have to do.
You must conquer your adversities. No one can do it for you. No one will do it for you, and if you are sitting around waiting on someone else to fix your life, you will never know happiness, peace, or abundance. That’s life.
Most people forget that Jesus was from a minority. I really don’t know if He was a Roman citizen or not. Pilate expected the Sanhedrin to deal with Jesus, but they turned the situation around so that it became a civil matter that Pilate had to handle it, and he executed Jesus. The charge was treason, and he labeled Jesus as King of the Jews.
There is a lesson in this for all of us, regardless of your race, creed, color, sex, or whatever. Even when you are right, even when you are doing the right thing, if you are standing up for what is right, you will face a lot of criticism, and you may even have to pay for doing the right thing with your life. This can be the price of success, and no one can argue that Jesus didn’t live a successful life.
The biggest lie told about him is that he was a poor carpenter. Nothing could be further from the truth. Jesus was given more gold, frankincense, and myrrh when he was two years old than he would ever spend. Jesus became a carpenter because it was frequently the case that rabbis had a trade. They only evangelized part time. Paul was a tent maker. He made tents for a living.
Jesus was also a man of authority, and people listened to him. If you want people to take you seriously and listen to you in business, you have to have something to say that’s worth hearing. Trust me when I tell you that when it comes to business, I’ve never heard an intelligent word come out of the mouths of liberals. The ones that do go into business don’t understand it, and most of them won’t because they think they have to “save the world, or the whales,” or something silly like that.
If you want to change the world, change yourself. We can all use a little work to make us better people. Unfortunately, liberals are arrogant enough to believe that everything around them is wrong. When you stop working from the outside in, and start working from the inside out, that’s when you will find true change, and your life will become better.
Educate yourself. Learn everything you can. There is a such a thing as Universal Human Truth. There are things that no matter who says them, or where they came from, are truth. Period.
If liberals don’t like the “rules,” they try to change them. What’s wrong with gravity, or heterosexuality, or the way God made things to work? What’s wrong with mankind being more important than the animals? We are made in the image of God. We are far more important in the kingdom of God than the animals. God didn’t offer them a choice between heaven and hell, or a chance to live a sentient life the way we were.
So, if you want to live a successful life, here’s what you do:
1. Take responsibility for your life. Everything. Period. As Jack Canfield says in “The Success Principles,” you are responsible for your own life. You may not have caused everything that happened, but you are responsible for your response to what has happened to you. Take responsibility, and you will feel a whole lot better about your life.
As someone once said, “Life isn’t about what happens to us. It’s about what we do with what happens to us.”
2. Ditch your baggage. If you like to hold a grudge, stop. Let it go. Turn it over to God. Get rid of your baggage. Holding onto it doesn’t hurt those who hurt you. It hurts you. Period.
3. Why should you care what others think of you? This is something I have noticed that gays, blacks, liberals, and a lot of other people who aren’t sure of themselves do. They allow others to define who they are. “Be nice.”
Nice is what you use to describe someone when you don’t have anything “nice” to say about them. This usually comes from being mediocre, which is something that most people in American society suffer from.
It is up to you to define who you are. Why should you care about what someone you don’t know or doesn’t sign your pay check think? I am all for listening to what others have to say. I will consider your opinion, but don’t whine if I shoot you down as an idiot because your opinion is neither well thought out nor educated. Which leads me to my next point:
4. Educate yourself. One thing I’ve noticed about those who fall prey to liberalism is that they are easily influenced. The Founding Fathers rejected the Enlightenment. They could have based the United States on the principles that later inspired the French Revolution, among other things, but they didn’t. Instead, they chose Christian principles instead. They did this because they understood, and it was obvious to them, that God existed. They made this the basis for writing both the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.
It is up to you to decide how your life turns out, and if you aren’t willing to take responsibility for your own life, don’t expect others to do it for you.
