Do Facts Matter?

One of the biggest arguments we have in our house hold is this whole concept of facts versus opinions. Although I believe that opinions do have their place, at the same time, you should never ever use emotion to make decisions. You should always evaluate the facts first.

A good opinion will be based on the evaluation of the facts. This is why liberalism always falls short. It’s all about making yourself feel good instead of doing the right thing and basing decisions on things that achieve right results.

Anyway, that’s my opinion, and it’s based on and evaluation of the facts. Jesus said to know the truth and the truth will set you free.

Well, here’s some truth for you:

The war is already won. Jesus won it 2,000 years ago. The only thing left for us to do is to fight the battles in between. If Obama wins, know this: he will have to pry my Bible and my gun out of my dead hands. I just won’t go down without a fight because I am sick of it. I’m sick of the ignorance of Americans, and I’m sick of the ignorance of people who claim to be Christian and support this man.

If you support Obama, you are not a Christian. Obama is not a Christian in spite of what Colin Powell said. If Powell ever decides to run, I will never vote for him because he supported this fraud.

Obama is a fraud. He’s also evil. If you don’t believe me, study Black Liberation Theology, which is what Obama was exposed to in Jeremiah Wright’s “church”, I mean cult. Read Obama’s voting record on abortion. You can’t be a Christian and support abortion.

Read the column by Thomas Sowell. He’s right on point.

This is what I find so disturbing, when someone who has a Republican/conservative viewpoint tries to paint anyone with a Democrat/liberal viewpoint as “not Christian”. I’m saddened by followers of Christ who seek to exclude those from the table those who don’t share their political ideologies. I’m glad it’s Jesus who invites. Methinks you’ll be surprised by those who will sit next to you at that Great Banquet.

Oh . . . and may I remind you . . . ” that WHOSOEVER believes in me shall have everlasting life” NOT whosoever believes in me AND is a conservative Republican AND carries a gun. I admonish you to know what salvation is really based on. GOD’S GRACE and not who you vote for!

    Pam,

What you don’t get is that liberals have no use for ideas like personal accountability and personal responsibility. For liberals it’s always about being a victim of circumstance, or it’s not my fault.

One reason the Jewish leadership wanted to kill Jesus was because he said he was God, and he said he was the Messiah. He also recalled them to repent. To turn away from their sin.Repentance denotes personal responsibility.

In Timothy Paul writes to Timothy and tells him that if you want to eat you have to work. There’s no room for laziness among Christians, and we’re responsible for taking care of ourselves. We’re not to depend on others to do it.

What bothers me about liberals is that it’s all about your feelings. You never consider the facts in anything. If you did, you’d know that a fetus is a baby. A human being, and to abort one is murder.

Did you serve your country? I doubt it. Well I did. US Army. Because of me, and people like me you have the freedom to come on my blog and make stupid remarks and show your igrnorance. I’m not a republican, and I don’t think Thomas Sowell is either.

I am a Conservative. I tried liberalism when I was in college. It didn’t work for me. It was all about ideas, and feelings. There was never any results behind all of the things liberals advocated.

No, salvation isn’t based on who you vote for. However, too many people who are voting for Obama do think he is the Messiah. Well, he’s not. He’s just a man, and he’s lied over and over to promote his own agenda. I don’t no more believe that he is a Christian than I am the Pope.

Maybe you need to examine your belief system. You can’t be a liberal and be a Christian because they are two conflicting belief systems. Christianity and Conservatism are in line with one another.

Personal responsibility. Personal accountability. Belief in right and wrong. Those are all conservative ideals.

Liberalism is always about a government solution to every problem.

Yes, salvation is based on God’s grace, but you have to accept Jesus Christ as your savior. There will be plenty who make it into heaven by the skin of their teeth because they fell for the lies of people like Obama.

Sorry, but I’m just not that deluded.

And one more thing: I never said anything in my post that said you had to be a Conservative Republican to get into heaven. Never mentioned Democrats either. That’s one more liberal trait I despise: you always have to twist things to your agenda. Well, Pam, FACTS DO MATTER
