Bill O’Reilly : Jesus Versus the Atheists – Townhall.com

I suppose that as a Christian, I should be insulted by this. After all, atheists are so much more rational, and they know so much more than the rest of us.

I’m not. In fact, I think it’s funny. Atheists make me laugh. I read Dinesh D’Sousa’s book, “What’s So Great About Christianity?”, as well as Ann Coulter’s “Godless: The Church of Liberalism.” According to both of these authors, liberals and atheists are mad about God’s rules and don’t want to follow them. It means they don’t get to have sex whenever they want to or kill unborn babies when they want to.

There are rules that govern the universe, and one of them is that once an egg is fertilized, it’s life, whether it’s a chicken’s egg or a human’s. As for sex, well, you have it enough with enough different people, and don’t protect yourself, you’ll either end up pregnant or with a disease. Rules of the universe.

Now I’m sure someone will think I’m being harsh here. I’m not. As long as you’re willing to take responsibility for your actions, no problem. The problem is, most don’t and won’t.

Besides, atheists are the ultimate hypocrites anyway. According to one of the “great” atheists, Christopher Hutchins, Communism under Stalin was a religion, and it was that religion, not atheism, that killed all of those Russians. Never mind that Stalin was a Russian.

I like what Wallace Wattles said: “The world isn’t going to the devil, it’s going to God.” Each day brings us closer to the end of this system and into the Tribulation, the Millenium, and Eternity, and eternity where God doesn’t believe in atheists, and they won’t exist.

Maybe the way to solve all of this is to really separate church and state. Let’s let all of these government workers work on Christmas day. Then they can’t complain.

Anyway, great story. Bill O’Reilly is always funny. Who cares what atheists think anyway? They always come across to me as being mad about everything.

Verse of the Day

I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. (Ephesians 4:1-3, ESV)
