The myth of homosexual oppression

I highly recommend that you read this column. I couldn’t have said it any better myself.

I am sick and tired of the gay rights movement comparing what they are going through to what blacks went through before civil rights. There is not one shred of proof anywhere that homosexuality is anything but a choice. Being black is an act of birth. It’s not something you can change although Michael Jackson tried.

I for one am tired of being called a homophobe because I oppose this perversion. I see no reason to celebrate it, and I don’t understand why we are being pushed to confer special rights on these people because they want to have sex a different way from everyone else.

Homosexuality is not something to be feared. It’s to be pitied because it really is pathetic.

Verse of the Day

And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you. (John 14:16-17, ESV)
