Truth? How Important Is It?

I have to be honest: I’ve been having withdrawals from writing on my Christian blog. For some reason, I was having a little bit of writer’s block. Other times it was about trying to avoid boring other people to death.
Ultimately, I realized that as I read my Bible, and I continued to study, I really had a lot to say. It goes way beyond the “Science of Getting Rich”, and every word is from a Christian perspective.
Too many people in America today are under the misguided notion that free speech and the 1st Amendment means you can say whatever you want. Let me disabuse you of that notion right now.
Free speech doesn’t give you the right to lie. It doesn’t give you the right to say things about others that isn’t true. If you call someone a liar, a baby killer, or some other vile term, be prepared to back it up because there are laws in this country that make you a criminal for saying such things.
There’s another issue here: you don’t have the right to just show up here because you want to steal what we have. Since the majority of illegals are coming from across our Southern border, believe me, I’ll have a lot to say about that one. Catholicism is out of hand. Apparently some of these people in the Catholic church think it’s OK to just do what you want. Never mind that if you break man’s law, you’ve already broken God’s law.
Well, I plan to speak up. Politics, religion (denominations who claim to be Christian who aren’t), and anything else I think that needs to be discussed. Frankly, I’m sick of all the lies. It’s time for some truth. Some honesty, and it’s time to start calling people on the carpet.
