Why George Tiller is on trial in Wichita
This column is not for the faint of heart. If you are one of these people whose stomach is easily turned, you definitely don’t want to read this.
I’m always shocked when I hear liberal science. These are the same people who claim they believe in “real science,” but the science they embrace isn’t real at all. Their science includes: aborted babies are just tissue, or only potential life, not a real life, global warming, Darwinism, and embryonic stem cell research.
(The problem with embryonic stem cell research, other than that it destroys a human life is that so far, it’s produced not one cure. Adult stem cell research has produced 72 cures, including Parkinson’s. You hear that Michael J. Fox?)
This is why we need to prosecute people like George Tiller. This is greed at its worst. This is a man who has murdered more than 60,000 late term babies. Babies that could clearly be proven to be viable. More importantly, all it takes is an ultrasound to prove its a baby and not a blob of tissue.
I don’t agree with what Michael Vick did. Dog fighting is barbaric, but what I don’t understand is why people get so angry over the death of a dog, but they don’t have a problem with murdering a baby just because it’s in the womb?
At the very least, I hope is medical license is gone forever, and that he is never ever allowed to practice medicine again.
My oldest granddaughter was born at 27 weeks. She lived for 2 1/2 months and then died. We had to take her off of life support. I know that was the worst day of my daughter’s life. I know it was mine, and I also know there was never any doubt in our minds that Ava was a real live human being, not a blob of tissue.
Five weeks later, my grandson was born and died. He got a blood clot in his umbilical. When the doctor delivered him the same day, the doctor said that he would have lived and been healthy had he not gotten the blood clot. Not a blob of tissue either. Fully human.
Although I respect the right of others to be who they are, and I respect their rights, there are some things that we must be uncompromising on. This is one of them, and we should never stop fighting until this barbaric and evil practice is outlawed.
