Here is a beautiful video by Casting Crowns that illustrates the season. It shows just how much we need Jesus in our lives.
The bottom line is that the answer to all of our problems here on earth lies not in Obama, or socialism, or liberalism, or any of the other isms. Jesus is the answer.

I realize that December 25th is originally the day of the birth of the sun God Apollo. That’s OK. We Christians hijacked it.
Personally, I think we should celebrate Christ every day. He is the reason for the season, and one day each year is simply not enough to demonstrate how truly great and wonderful He is.
My favorite Christmas music is Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Here is one of their videos. I’ll be showcasing their music from now until the end of the year. It’s just too beautiful not to listen to, and I’m sick of Obama, politics, and liberals. It’s Christmas. Let’s celebrate something that’s wonderful, as well as actually meaningful. We can engage in the meaningless political discussions after the holidays. For now, enjoy!

It is Christmas Eve, and I hope that all of you are now ready for Christmas. I wish each of you a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous and happy New Year.
The two videos below are from one of my favorite groups: Mannheim Steamroller. I absolutely love their music, and their Christmas music is the best. These two videos show a beautiful display of Christmas lights. Enjoy!
Christmas Lights – Mannheim Steamroller – Hallelujah – 2007
Christmas Lights – Carol of the Bells
Christmas Lights Synchronized to TSO Nutcracker
Although this isn’t Mannheim Steamroller, it’s still very good. It’s the Trans Siberian Orchestra, and they do a pretty good job of playing Christmas music.

I love Christmas lights, and some of the displays that you see are simply outrageous, but they can be very beautiful.
The soundtrack for this one is set toWizards in Winter, and it is played by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. (This is just about as good as Mannheim Steamroller.)

I’m tired of writing about politics. It is the Christmas season even if it doesn’t feel like it.
Stryper is an 80s Christian rock band. They were similar in their style to the “glam” rock bands or hair bands like Poison, Def Leppard, and sometimes even Van Halen.
Their music was very different in that all of their themes were Christian. It’s one of the reasons I love them. Of course, the other reason I love them is that they just plain rock!
Have a wonderful Christmas and enjoy!
