What Price Freedom?

If you are one of these people who is a parasite on society, like Senator Robert Byrd’s constituents, you probably won’t get what today is all about. If some of you ever had to give up a meal or be homeless, you would whine about how tough you had it.

Our Founding Fathers knew what it meant to suffer, to really suffer. They did it because they believed in something that was far more important than having a roof over their heads or making sure they ate every meal: FREEDOM.

I am proud and honored to say that I am the descendent of a Revolutionary War Hero. I pay tribute to him today, as well as for his sacrifice in making us free. Our family paid the price in blood because Robert Jarrett IV was willing to give his life for our freedom.

Someone once said that you can’t have freedom AND equality. You have to pick one. I personally believe that you can be equal under the law and equal before God although God does hold those who are saved above those who aren’t. After that, there really isn’t anything such as equality. We don’t all have the same homes, incomes, looks, or anything else. Each of us is unique with unique  circumstances.

I personally prefer freedom. Although I do believe that those things outlined in the Bible as sins are sins, I also believe that we’re all adults and responsible and accountable for our behavior. Whether you believe in God or not, or believe what the Bible says, or not, it doesn’t mean that these things aren’t true. Some things simply are true no matter the message or the messenger. That’s just the way it is. Trying to defy the law of gravity because you’ve decided you don’t want it to exist doesn’t mean that it goes away.

There are consequences for everything we do and every decision we make. That’s just life. If you want to be free, you’ll have to stand up. That’s just the way it is. I will stand up because I want to be free, and freedom is worth any price.

Today is a day to be grateful. If you are an American citizen, then be grateful today because you enjoy a freedom few in the world will ever experience. Don’t take it for granted.

Barack Obama: A Black Svengali

Back when I was in college in the 90s, I tried being a liberal for about three weeks. Then someone turned me onto Rush Limbaugh, and I ditched the whole liberal thing for good.

I was reading yesterday that the more you take responsibility for your life, the happier and better off you will be. (This was in a stock newsletter with the title: “Where is your bailout?”)

What I have never understood is why liberals want to destroy this country. With the unprecedented freedom we have, this is just a wonderful place to live. Then again, I have known a lot of liberals, and they are mediocre and average people who want others to recognize how great they are, but they’ve done nothing to attain greatness. For the liberals who are truly successful, like Hillary Clinton, I can only guess that they suffer from serious and painful inner turmoil because, if you follow liberal principles, you will never succeed.

The principles of hard work, taking responsibility for yourself and having a goal are all conservative principles.  In order to succeed, people like Hillary Clinton have to act like Conservatives in their lives. I’m sure that explains the pinched look you always see on her face.

Anyway, as usual, Erik explains clearly why liberals act the way that they do and what they think they will achieve by enacting their worldview. As usual, like all of the other principles they believe in, the result will be complete and total failure.

I personally have already decided that I will either leave the country or not work any harder than I have to under these people. If they do enact communism in this country, it’s not like they can fire you, so you can pretty much slack as much as you want with little or no consequences, and that’s exactly what I intend to do. That’s why communism failed in the old Soviet Union, and that’s why it will fail here.

Anyway, Erik, you are my hero. Keep dogging this sorry excuse we have for a President. Quite frankly, as many laws as he has broken already, it’s time to impeach him.

Foundation for Human Understanding

I’ve been listening to Roy Masters lately, and he’s been discussing changing your life from a purely political standpoint. He has been explaining Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and how liberals are using their policies to destroy us from both the outside and inside.

Of all of the resources I have used to help me heal myself, this is absolutely one of the best. On an intellectual level I think I knew that I had PTSD, but it wasn’t until I started listening to his meditation, and I started getting better that I really began to see what was really happening in this country.

When I was a kid, my favorite holiday was Christmas.  After all, what could be more fun than Christmas?

Then I grew up. Although I still love Christmas, I believe in celebrating Jesus every day, not just one day a year and then forgetting about him.

My favorite holiday now is Memorial Day. It is a day to reflect, to think about all of those who have come before me, those who made possible all of the choices I have made in my life possible, because they gave all ofg us freedom. There are those who still live and those who have died.

I am proud to say that I am a member of the ranks of veterans for this country. It is both an honor and a privilege to be one of you/us.

Although I am sure it doesn’t mean as much hearing it from me because I am a fellow vet, all I can say is for those of you who are still standing on the front lines,  and those serving worldwide, THANK YOU. God bless you.

For those who have passed, let me say thank you to your families.

To all of you, this tribute is for you. Jesus said, in John 15:13, “No greater thing can a man do than lay down his life for his friends.”

You are so awesome. You have served this country in a real and meaningful way that Obama and liberals will never understand. You have made sacrifices that most government workers will never understand because most of them have never done a hard day’s labor in their lives.

You are to be commended because you, our servicemembers and our veterans, are the best of the best that the United States has to offer.

There are not enough words in the dictionary to express my gratitude for what you have done. All I can say is, thank you.

I saw a t-shirt the other day I thought was pretty funny. It said, “Al Gore didn’t invent the Internet. He invented global warming.”

Having served in the Army, and used the Internet before it was the Internet, I know this is true. I also know that global warming is a huge hoax perpetrated by Al Gore to make big money.

I’m not actually a Republican anymore. I tend to vote Republican because they have the best chance of beating the liberals and Democrats and their ideology.

I am, however, very much a Conservative. Conservatism is compatible with being a Christian, and after watching this video you’ll see why.

I have recently updated both my site and my blog. The reason why is that I want to bring you better information. I’ll still be reporting on what is happening. Unfortunately, that still means talking about Obama. However, I want to discuss some other stuff too.

Now, with that said, don’t expect to endorse or support anything that is contrary to the Bible. I had rather tell you the truth and hurt your feelings, than to lie to you, spare you now, and see you condemned later.

It’s not always easy living the Christian life.  It is worth it though. Of course, I’m not talking church doctrine. I’m talking about living the way Jesus lived. Totally different.
