Barack Obama: A Black Svengali

Back when I was in college in the 90s, I tried being a liberal for about three weeks. Then someone turned me onto Rush Limbaugh, and I ditched the whole liberal thing for good.

I was reading yesterday that the more you take responsibility for your life, the happier and better off you will be. (This was in a stock newsletter with the title: “Where is your bailout?”)

What I have never understood is why liberals want to destroy this country. With the unprecedented freedom we have, this is just a wonderful place to live. Then again, I have known a lot of liberals, and they are mediocre and average people who want others to recognize how great they are, but they’ve done nothing to attain greatness. For the liberals who are truly successful, like Hillary Clinton, I can only guess that they suffer from serious and painful inner turmoil because, if you follow liberal principles, you will never succeed.

The principles of hard work, taking responsibility for yourself and having a goal are all conservative principles.  In order to succeed, people like Hillary Clinton have to act like Conservatives in their lives. I’m sure that explains the pinched look you always see on her face.

Anyway, as usual, Erik explains clearly why liberals act the way that they do and what they think they will achieve by enacting their worldview. As usual, like all of the other principles they believe in, the result will be complete and total failure.

I personally have already decided that I will either leave the country or not work any harder than I have to under these people. If they do enact communism in this country, it’s not like they can fire you, so you can pretty much slack as much as you want with little or no consequences, and that’s exactly what I intend to do. That’s why communism failed in the old Soviet Union, and that’s why it will fail here.

Anyway, Erik, you are my hero. Keep dogging this sorry excuse we have for a President. Quite frankly, as many laws as he has broken already, it’s time to impeach him.

A Special Memorial Day Thank You to Our Servicemembers

When I was a kid, my favorite holiday was Christmas.  After all, what could be more fun than Christmas?

Then I grew up. Although I still love Christmas, I believe in celebrating Jesus every day, not just one day a year and then forgetting about him.

My favorite holiday now is Memorial Day. It is a day to reflect, to think about all of those who have come before me, those who made possible all of the choices I have made in my life possible, because they gave all ofg us freedom. There are those who still live and those who have died.

I am proud to say that I am a member of the ranks of veterans for this country. It is both an honor and a privilege to be one of you/us.

Although I am sure it doesn’t mean as much hearing it from me because I am a fellow vet, all I can say is for those of you who are still standing on the front lines,  and those serving worldwide, THANK YOU. God bless you.

For those who have passed, let me say thank you to your families.

You are so awesome. You have served this country in a real and meaningful way that Obama and liberals will never understand. You have made sacrifices that most government workers will never understand because most of them have never done a hard day’s labor in their lives.

You are to be commended because you, our servicemembers and our veterans, are the best of the best that the United States has to offer.

There are not enough words in the dictionary to express my gratitude for what you have done. All I can say is, thank you.
