Realms of Faith: Comparing Bible Translations

I found this page while doing some research on the Bible. It explains the various translations of the Bible to give you a little more information on choosing the translation that is right for you.

One thing I would highly recommend is that you read different translations of the Bible. This will help you find the right study Bible, as well as the one you want for daily use.

Currently, I use the New King James for study, and the NIV for daily reading, but I think I may switch to the English Standard Version (ESV) for study since I haven’t read this translation.

Use this page to help you find the translation that is right for you. A lot of effort has gone into translating the Bible making it the most translated ancient book in history. The translations we have today are also pretty accurate because of all of the scholarship that has gone into creating the Bible.

I will report more on this one later. The scholarship of the Bible really is fascinating, and once you learn it, then you will be able to prove why you believe in Jesus Christ.

In my next blog post, I’ll introduce you to a site that will make your Bible reading a whole lot easier. I highly recommend reading the Bible because it will change your life for the better. It will also help you deal with the daily issues of life in a far more effective way.

Verse of the Day

And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you. (John 14:16-17, ESV)
